The Camino Project
In 2019 Roberts co-wrote and starred as Tour Guide in Theatre Y’s devised production “The Camino Project,” a five-mile walking performance in Chicago inspired by the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage across northern Spain. Roberts was described as “charismatic and vivacious” (Chicago Reader) and “engaging and charismatic” (Picture This Post). Theatre Y was awarded a MacArthur Foundation International Connections Fund grant to perform “The Camino Project” in Serbia in 2020.
