Camino Del Norte

In 2019 Roberts walked the Northern Route of the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage to the reputed tomb of St. James in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The trek was preparation for Roberts’s role as Tour Guide in Theatre Y’s “The Camino Project.” The 35mm photographs below, made on the Camino de Santiago, hung in the dining room where Theatre Y’s performance culminated each night in a communal meal. They are included in a self-published book of 72 portraits entitled “Camino del Norte 2019.”
